EXPERIENCE
March 95-Present---The Abbott & Fillmore Agency, Inc.: Initially Vice President followed by promotion to President effective September, 1997. Jon adds to the company's experienced staff including a total of four licensed insurance agents. Jon has been a licensed insurance agent for 16 years. He has been trained in all forms of insurance--auto, home, commercial, health, life, and bonds. With a degree in Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Jon brings a whole new professional wisdom to the insurance industry.
Jan 87-Mar 95--- Prior to joining Abbott & Fillmore, Jon spent 8 years at Comerica Bank. Headquartered in Detroit, Comerica is the 25th largest bank in the country, with $28 billion in assets. While with Comerica, he spent time in Dallas, Texas as part of a team to initiate Comerica's entrance into commercial lending in the Texas market. His responsibilities were financial analysis of small and medium sized businesses of all kinds. He then returned to Comerica's headquarters in Detroit, MI where he was promoted to Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer in the Corporate Banking Division. In Detroit, Jon was a part of the Mortgage Banker Financing Loan Group and the Commercial Real Estate Loan Group. The focus was on the real estate industry with analysis and lending to independent mortgage companies, builders, real estate developers and individuals.
While at Comerica, Jon closed more than $250 million in new loans to businesses and individuals-- making him one of the top performers at the bank. Jon was promoted quickly to one of the youngest Vice Presidents at the bank--a result of his outstanding performance and customer service.

PERSONAL Jon's wife is Elizabeth and they have twin daughters and a son. Jon enjoys golf, tennis and running. He is a past President and member of the board of directors of the local Chamber of Commerce. As a hobby he also does financial computer programming and has developed several programs for individuals and businesses.
